本次视频将会讲解 Centos8 命令行和桌面版的详细安装，一般作为初学者学习 Linux 操作系统，都是用到 Centos，因为它来自 RedHat，而且大部分公司企业的服务器都是RedHat / Centos 操作系统，本视频可以让你快速了解 Centos 的安装流程，让你快速步入 Linux 的大门，需要安装 Centos 7 的小伙伴也可以参考下，安装流程基本一致。
下载Centos 8
进入Centos 官网，https://www.centos.org/
点击【CentOS Linux DVD ISO】，选择对自己合适的镜像站下载

新建虚拟机，选择【自定义(高级)】,然后点击【下一步】

选择合适的Vmware 平台，这边以选择【Workstion 10.x】为例，主要了为了方便分享给安装低于Vmware 15的用户使用，毕竟Vmware 10的硬件限制我们目前使用完全达不到

选择【稍后安装操作系统】，然后点击【下一步】

客户端操作系统选择【Linux】，视频中版本选择【其他 Linux 5.x 或更高版本内核 64位】，准点来说，应该选择【其他Linux 4.x 64位】，但是都可以正常启动的

修改虚拟机名称和位置

根据电脑配置给虚拟机分配处理器核心数（注意：不可超过自己电脑本机的处理器核心数）

滑动蓝色指示条或者右侧直接输入内存数量，根据自己本机电脑内存而定，一般Linux 图形化建议给1-2G，命令行模式低于1G也可以

网络类型默认NAT

选择合适的磁盘容量大小，并且【将虚拟机磁盘存储为单个文件】

指定磁盘文件到刚刚创建的文件夹中

因为刚刚并没有选择操作系统镜像文件，所以完成后点击【自定义硬件】或【编辑虚拟机设置】，将CD/DVD处理，选择下载好的iso镜像文件

安装Centos
开启虚拟机，用键盘上建选择第一项，直接安装，默认是检测镜像完整性再安装

选择合适的语言，中文在最下方，点击【继续】

开启虚拟机网络连接

修改地区和时间

修改安装目标位置

软件选择，默认是【带GUI的服务器】就是带桌面的版本，如果需要安装纯命令行版本，选择【最小安装】

修改完成后，点击【开始安装】

- 在安装过程中，分别设置【根密码】和【创建用户】，
- 带GUI模式如果这边不创建新用户，进入图形化页面后，会强制要求创建，且密码必须符合一定的复杂程度
- 最小安装模式可以不创建用户

注意
- CentOS 8.x系列只有64位系统，没有32位。
- CentOS 8.x的版本有CentOS 8.x和CentOS Stream两个版本
- CentOS Stream是一个面向开发人员的发行版，是Red Hat Enterprise Linux的滚动发行版，是一个连续的内容流，每天更新几次，其中包含RHEL的最新和最大更新
- Centos 8 逐步转向CentOS Stream
